About This Workshop

Experience the thrill of wildlife photography in the Swiss Alps. This full-day adventure takes you into the natural habitats of Switzerland’s most iconic alpine animals. With expert guidance and knowledge of animal behavior and locations, you’ll have the best possible opportunities to photograph these magnificent creatures ethically and effectively.

Each workshop focuses on specific species based on seasonal availability and behavior patterns. Small group sizes ensure minimal disturbance to wildlife and maximum attention for each participant.

Recommended Gear

Lens: 300mm minimum, 400-600mm ideal
Fast autofocus capable camera
Monopod or tripod (lightweight)
Binoculars (recommended)
Hiking boots and layered clothing

Physical Requirements

Moderate fitness required. 5-8km hiking on uneven terrain, carrying gear. Periods of waiting and observation.

Common Questions

How close do we get to the animals?

We prioritize the welfare of the animals and follow ethical guidelines. We get close enough for great shots with a telephoto lens, but never close enough to disturb them.

What lens do I need?

A lens with at least 300mm reach is highly recommended. 400mm-600mm is ideal.
